Martin & Co Worcester & Gloucester has announced the strategic acquisition of Hills Estate Agents (Lettings Division), a well-established independent agency located next door to its Worcester office. The move marks the first acquisition for Director Nirvair Sander since taking over the franchise in November 2021 and significantly expands the company’s lettings portfolio by over 300 properties.
The acquisition unites two respected local property agencies, combining Hills’ long-standing community reputation with the national reach and advanced technology of the Martin & Co brand.
Nirvair Sander, who has led the Martin & Co Worcester & Gloucester offices since 2021, identified Hills Estate Agents as the ideal partner for his first acquisition. “Hills Estate Agents, located next door to our office, presented an ideal strategic fit,” he explained. “The proximity enables us to offer seamless service, and their property portfolio closely mirrors our own, ensuring consistency and familiarity for both teams and clients. With a strong and steady team in place, now was the opportune moment to grow.”
A key component of the deal was retaining the experienced lettings team from Hills, whose local expertise and client relationships are considered invaluable. The lettings division will be integrated into Martin & Co, with the combined operation working from the existing Martin & Co Worcester office.
