Belvoir Ipswich resold to existing Franchise Owner, marking third office expansion

Belvoir has announced the successful resale of its Ipswich office to existing Franchise Owner Robert Price, who already owns and operates the Belvoir Cambridge and Belvoir Huntingdon offices. The acquisition marks Price’s third Belvoir territory and reflects his continued confidence in the brand and the opportunities within the East of England property market.

The Ipswich business has been acquired as a resale, with the existing premises and team retained to ensure continuity for clients and landlords during the transition.

Price said the timing of the acquisition felt right.

“We have looked at the Ipswich office previously and now seemed like the right time. Our other offices are well established, and we had the capacity to grow. Ipswich stood out as a strong opportunity to build on an already successful operation.”

The addition of Ipswich also supports Price’s wider growth strategy, particularly in sales.

“Belvoir Ipswich has a successful sales team and adding this to our current business is an important step in helping us grow sales across all three offices,”

he said.

Having already integrated a second office, Price brings valuable experience into this next phase.

“We’ve been through the process of integrating another office before, and we’re now seeing significant growth in Cambridge. We hope to replicate some of that success in Ipswich too.”

Maintaining continuity has been a key priority following the resale.

“While some change is inevitable, particularly in light of new government legislation, our immediate focus is to settle the team. We’ll also review processes to see what we can learn and apply across the wider business, as well as identifying opportunities to further improve the Ipswich office,”

Price added.

As a landlord himself, Price is focused on maintaining high standards of service.

“I’m always keen to ensure landlords and tenants are well looked after and receive the very best service. Success is built on great systems, a strong structure and an excellent team, and that will remain our focus.”

Commenting on the resale, Ellie Hall, Group Managing Director of Belvoir, said:

“It’s fantastic to see Rob expand his Belvoir portfolio with the acquisition of Ipswich. He has already built two very successful offices in Cambridge and Huntingdon, and his commitment to service, systems and people makes him ideally placed to take the Ipswich business forward. Resales like this highlight the strength of the Belvoir network and the opportunities available to experienced Franchise Owners.”

Looking ahead, Price is positive about the local market.

“We feel there is a real opportunity for future growth in Ipswich and expect to see a rise in prices over the next few years.”

Addressing existing clients, he added:

“We’re excited about the future and look forward to working with our Ipswich clients over the coming years.”

With three offices now under his ownership, Price remains confident that service levels will be maintained.

“We have excellent teams in Cambridge and Huntingdon, led by very capable managers who uphold our standards on a daily basis. We plan to ensure the same continuity in Ipswich and are confident that the team have what it takes to deliver.”
