Parkers deliver high-impact Landlord & Property Investor Event amid sector change

Estate agency group Parkers has successfully delivered a major Landlord & Property Investor Event, attracting more than 200 registrations and welcoming over 120 attendees on the night, highlighting the growing demand for expert guidance across the lettings sector.

Organised and executed within just six weeks, the event was designed in direct response to increasing landlord concerns around the forthcoming Renters’ Rights reforms, alongside wider legislative and market changes. The strong turnout reflects the urgency among landlords to better understand how these developments will affect their portfolios, compliance obligations, and long-term investment strategies.

Simon West, Director at Parkers, commented: “With some of the most significant changes to the lettings sector in the past 30 years now on the horizon, it is absolutely essential that landlords fully understand what is happening, how these changes will impact them, and the practical steps they need to take to prepare.

“There is understandably a degree of uncertainty in the market, but events like this are about cutting through that uncertainty and providing clear, straightforward guidance, ensuring landlords feel informed, confident, and equipped to make the right decisions for their portfolios. Our role is to support them every step of the way, particularly during periods of such substantial regulatory change.”

The event was delivered collaboratively by two Parkers franchisees within its wider 11-branch network. By combining local audiences with shared expertise, the initiative successfully broadened its regional reach, creating a highly engaged and informative environment for landlords and property investors alike.

The impact of the event has already been tangible. Six landlords have transferred their properties and portfolios to Parkers, while a number of additional instructions and portfolio discussions are currently progressing. The event has also generated a strong pipeline of follow-up activity, including landlord reviews, valuation appointments, and investment consultations, demonstrating both the immediate and longer-term value of the initiative.

Toby Phillips, Group Managing Director of Parkers, added: “Our priority is, and always has been, to support our customers by providing clear, reliable guidance, particularly during times of change. With the Renters’ Rights Act coming into effect from 1 May, we recognise that many landlords are seeking reassurance and practical advice on how best to respond.

“The feedback from the event has been extremely positive. Attendees benefited from a range of expert speakers, each offering valuable insights into different aspects of the evolving lettings landscape. Importantly, landlords left with a clearer understanding of what lies ahead and the confidence that they are not navigating these changes alone.

“We want landlords to know that we are here as a long-term partner, offering not just advice, but proactive support and tailored solutions to help them adapt, remain compliant, and continue to succeed in an increasingly complex market.”

Overall, the success of the event reinforces Parkers’ position as a trusted voice within the lettings market, offering practical insight, clear guidance, and meaningful support at a time of significant transformation for landlords across the UK.
